On June 1, 2009 SERS mailed a Ballot to every active SERS member's house to vote for active member representation on the Illinois Pension Board.  Please take the time to vote for M/Sgt. Rob Fierstein for this important position.  He collected enough signatures to be one of five people on the Ballot.  We need an ISP representative on this Pension Board to protect our pensions.  M/Sgt Fierstein knows how important your pension is to you and your family.  Please take the time to vote for Rob Fierstein, seal the ballot, and send it in.

AFSCME is running three people for the board.  If AFSCME controls the board our enhanced pension formula may not be protected.
